★ Thinking? ★

:new: Do you like to think into things? And do you think there's a problem if someone does?

I can't help but wonder why people wouldn't want to think, even if you feel happier. What's so great about being an ignorant moron? Or making a fool of yourself? Or taking people you supposedly love for granted?

I have been accused of over thinking by just about everyone I know. They DO make it sound like it's a bad thing... ^^;

I know, right?! Thinking is a good thing. I mean, as long as you're not seriously going into anything crazy.

Apparently a friend of mine thinks I over-think things and it's ANNOYING. I don't even say anything out loud to her, I just put it on my LJ mostly (or talk about it with people who care). But of course she under-thinks things. She's...yeah...messing up her life... :\

Anyway, thanks for replying. XD;;

Yes, it's so asinine! I hate it when my friends tell me that like it's bad! Like somehow I'm missing out on something by thinking things out before I do them... But I should NEVER criticize them when the thing they have decided to do without thinking turns out to be really REALLY stupid.
Awe you're welcome. I wouldn't be me without coming to the defense of thinking. :XD:

Agreed. I try not to say anything to them at the time, because, you know, it's like kicking someone when they're down, but I do bring it up on my LJ just...to make a point. Maybe they'll catch on...at some point.... Maybe not. XD;

Did you know studies say smarter people or people that use their brain more live longer? Bring that up next time. XD

I think I have! :XD:
However some studies show that people who think less are happier! That's one to think on, isn't it? :XD:

I'm pretty sure Oscar Wilde said that once, too . . .
Boys like it when you're stupid? Maybe some, but none I like.

same here! But at this stage in my life, being the manizer (is that a word?) that I am, the ones I'd like to get to know show no interest in me, and because i like to think of myself as 'not ugly' it can only be because i am intelligent and weird. right?

No idea what you mean by "manizer." :\

Well, it could be they're showing no interest because they're interested. XD; Happens, you know.
